Board points
First tiebreak
Total individual boards won across the season — a full point per win, a half per draw.
Head-to-head
Second tiebreak
If two teams remain level, the result between them decides it.

Fall and winter results add together. Nothing resets in January.
Season 1 — the pilot
Our inaugural championship was played on May 16, 2026 in Rocklin: five schools, six teams, thirty players, seventy-five games. Cooley Middle School's Team A took the title by half a point.
